报告人简介：
Rainer Stegmann is a retired Director of the Department of Waste Resources Management at the Hamburg University of Technology (TU Hamburg), Germany. He served as the Director of the Residues and Resource Recycling Centre (R3C) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and held visiting professorships at several leading international universities. He is a Founding Member of the International Waste Working Group (IWWG) and has chaired or co-chaired over 20 international and national conferences on waste management and environmental engineering.
报告摘要：
Waste Management is not sufficiently recognized as a contributor to climate change, biodiversity loss, water, soil, and air pollution, health effects, plastic pollution of the oceans, and other issues. The modified waste term should include all emissions in gaseous, liquid, and solid forms, thereby enabling concerted action toward environmental and economic solutions.
