报告人简介：
Dr. Jonathan H. Jiang is an atmospheric and space scientist with over two decades of experience in satellite remote sensing, climate science, and astrophysics. His research integrates Earth-observing satellite data with advanced climate models, focusing on cloud dynamics, aerosol–cloud interactions, and precipitation processes to deepen our understanding of Earth’s changing climate.
He currently serves as President of the Global Environmental Change Section of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), and a member of the National Academies’ Steering Committee for the Science Strategy for the Human Exploration of Mars. Dr. Jiang’s interdisciplinary work bridges Earth and space sciences, contributing to both scientific understanding and humanity’s long-term outlook on climate and planetary sustainability.
